ATTENTION!  DISS USERS:

Users may receive an error of "SITE NOT SECURE" or "SITES TLS

SETTINGS ARE OUT OF DATE" when trying to access DISS.  In order to fix the issue please go to https://public.cyber.mil/pki-pke/pkipke-document-library/ and then go to page 5 and run the "INSTALLROOT 5.5 NIPR 64-BIT WINDOWS INSTALLER."  If blocked by your system administrator, please get in contact with your IT department for assistance.

 

ATTENTION!  DISS JVS USERS:

If you can pull a subject up using an SSN search but you are unable to see them when you select View Users please verify you have a SMO relationship with them (Please see the JVS User Manual; sections 3.5.1.31 and 3.5.1.32).

ATTENTION!  DISS ACCOUNT REQUEST INFORMATION:

Please contact your component for assistance obtaining access to DISS and determining your role(s).  You will need to complete the necessary training and the DD Form 2962 (PSSAR) system access form.  Additional information and the form is available on the PSA Website under Access Request.

 

ATTENTION!  DISS ONE-TIME REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

Please be aware that the first time you login to DISS you will have to register your PIV card.  Your account manager will provide your initial User ID and Password to register.  **When logging in with your PIV you must use the certificate that you registered with.**

DISS CATS: You may experience timeout exceptions or unrecoverable errors that log you out of the system when doing the following: uploading and reading documents to include; case documents, RFA task details submission and reading.

Contact the DMDC DISS Customer Call Center (CCC) at 1-800-467-5526 with questions or concerns using the DISS application.  JVS users:  Ensure you have your Security Management Office (SMO) Name when you call the CCC for assistance.  

 

The Defense Information System for Security (DISS), once fully deployed, will replace the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), to serve as the system of record to perform comprehensive personnel security, suitability and credential eligibility management for all military, civilian, and DOD contractor personnel.  DISS provides secure communications between Adjudicators, Security Officers and Component Adjudicators in support of eligibility and access management. DISS will deploy in a phased approach, with Phase 1 (DISS 1.0) being rolled out to users incrementally, starting with WHS and ending with Industry.
